Data Center 2

TX2 is a state of the art data center, featuring complete power redundancy, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity and security. This Database boasts 35,000 sq ft of raised floor, with infrastructure fully monitored by DataTrax.

Security

Security is concern number one at TX2. All visitors are fully vetted upon entry, required to exchange their government-issued identification for an limited-access badge, and are monitored via closed circuit television while on the premises.

Power

TX2 sits atop multiple power grids driven by TXU Electric, with PowerWare UPS battery Backup Power and dual diesel generators onsite. ZipServers goes to great lengths to ensure that power is never an issue

Data Center 4

TX4 is the 2nd datacenter facility of ZipServers, located in the heart of downtown Dallas. D4, as it's come to be known, boasts many of the same features as TX2 including HVAC, VESDA, redundant power and network, and 24x7 staffing.

Security

Security at D4 is airtight - entry to the datacenter is limited to employees of ZipServers and is enforced by building security and our own Simplex door lock system and closed-circuit surveillance.

Power

TX4 is fueled by a fault-tolerant electrical grid from TXU. In addition to the main power feed, D4 houses 3 500KVA Powerware UPS units, each with 90 batteries, as well as a 1.5-megawatt diesel generator, ensuring that our customer's equipment is never left wanting for power.
